Frank wants his robot, Ruby, to be his maid and Francine wants her robot, MAX, to be a handyman. But, Ruby is struggling to cook a wholesome meal, clean house and fulfill her primary function of assisting Dr. Egon in his daily activities. MAX is better at injuring himself than fixing anything. It isn't easy being metal. Ruby and MAX are just two robots trying to survive and perhaps find love in a human world.
